While Taylor Swift has a flourishing career in the music industry, her brother, Austin Swift is said to be struggling to establish his own name.

Sources recently spoke about Austin and his journey to become an established actor and filmmaker. He marked his debut in the 2016 film "I.T." before starring in more shows like "Live by Night," "Cover Versions," "Braking for Whales" and "Still the King," among others.

He also became the co-producer of the 2019 "We Summon the Darkness."

Taylor Swift's Brother Struggling To Be In The Spotlight?

Insiders recently claimed that Austin wants to create his own spotlight and empire in Hollywood. However, the 31-year-old film graduate does not find making his name easy.

"Austin gets offers to produce films, but it usually comes with, 'Can you convince Taylor to be in it?'" an insider told the National Enquirer. "That's an immediate no-go for Austin. [He] wants to stand on his own two feet and be his own man - not Taylor's brother."

However, Austin has yet to find the project that will put him in the spotlight. His most famous work as of press time was Taylor's music video, "I Bet You Think About Me," where he served as the producer. The project pushed him to earn an Academy of Country Music Awards nomination in 2022.

Despite the gap in their success, the siblings reportedly have no bad blood he calls the "Anti-Hero" singer his "caring, tireless, dedicated champion" and "best friend."
