Harry Styles' fans are having a complete meltdown over the possibility that the singer traded in his signature long locks for a buzz cut, and some even allege that it might have something to do with Taylor Swift.

According to reports, there is a grainy picture of the "As It Was" singer rocking a buzz cut; he was reportedly watching U2 perform at The Sphere.

"Harry Styles appeared to be missing something at the U2 concert at Sphere in Las Vegas this past Wednesday... his long, luscious locks!

"We can confirm with 100% certainty that he is now sporting a buzz cut. We have photo evidence that we don't have permission to share at this time. Don't worry he still looks [fire emoji," read an anonymous message sent to gossip site Deuxmoi.

Fans were completely devastated by the picture of Styles circulating online; many shared crying and angry memes, while others outright just could not believe the picture.

On the other hand, Swift's fans allege that the "Watermelon Sugar" singer's new haircut might have something to do with her newly released song "Now That We Don't Talk," a song from her "1989 (Taylor's Version)."

The song includes the lyrics: "You grew your hair long/ You got new icons/ And from the outside/ It looks like you're tryin' lives on

"I miss the old ways/ You didn't have to change/ But I guess I don't have a say/ Now that we don't talk."

The song, along with several other songs from the newly dropped re-recorded album includes hints of how the "Anti-Hero" singer and Styles ended their relationship.

In a different song, "Style," Swift gushed about Style's long hair however, in her newly released vault songs, she alluded that she and her ex did not have an amicable split despite being so in love.

Style's long locks are a signature look at this point. Fans have gotten to know him as someone who loves to keep his hair long, and even tie it up in a man bun, which he did often during his One Direction days.
