Every time Kelly Clarkson publishes a new album, she gets the nicest gifts from Taylor Swift. It's so clear that Taylor Swift is all about lifting each other up, not having any competitive bone that borders on toxic levels.

"You know what's so funny? She just sent me flowers," the "Kelly Clarkson Show" host told E! News in an interview published Thursday.

"She's so nice. . . She was like, 'Every time I release something' - 'cause she just did '1989' I got that really cute cardigan, too. I love how kind she is."

The singer of "Since You Been Gone" went on to say that Swift was a "very smart businesswoman" for figuring out how to regain ownership of her music following the sale of the master rights to her first six albums by her former manager, Scooter Braun.

"You know if they're going to find a loophole, you find a loophole," Clarkson explained. "And she did it and literally is, like, the best-selling artist I feel like of all-time now."

The 41-year-old singer of "Because of You" was among the first to advocate for Swift to record new songs after Braun acquired her catalog in 2019 and bought Big Machine Records, her previous record label. "@taylorswift13 just a thought, U should go in & re-record all the songs that U don't own the masters on exactly how U did them but put brand new art & some kind of incentive so fans will no longer buy the old versions," Clarkson tweeted in July 2019. "I'd buy all of the new versions just to prove a point ‍️."

In 2019, during an interview on "Good Morning America," Swift disclosed that she intended to begin re-producing her albums in early 2020.

Page Six was informed at the time by insiders that the 33-year-old "Cruel Summer" hitmaker had multiple chances to buy her masters but "decided to walk away."

Since I believe that artists should be the owners of their creations, I'm really excited about it. I simply have strong feelings about that," she remarked.

Four of Swift's first six albums have been reissued thus far: 2008's "Fearless," 2010's "Speak Now," 2012's "Red," and 2014's "1989."

The Grammy winner announced the album at the conclusion of her Eras Tour's US leg, and on October 27 she finally released "1989 (Taylor's Version)". The singer of "Blank Space" has been teasing fans with the prospect of seeing "Taylor's Versions" of her 2006 hit song "Taylor Swift" and her 2017 album "Reputation."

Meanwhile, Swift began her Eras Tour's foreign leg on Thursday in Argentina. It is anticipated that the tour will last until the end of 2024.
