Every time she releases a new album, it seems Taylor Swift always finds a way to surprise and delight her good friend, singer-songwriter, Kelly Clarkson.

Recently, in an interview with E News on Thursday, Kelly commented on exactly that - the gifts she has been receiving from the "Lavender Haze" singer.

"She's so nice. . . She was like, 'Every time I release something' - 'cause she just did '1989' I got that really cute cardigan, too. I love how kind she is."

Kelly Clarkson Gave Taylor Swift THE IDEA

Taylor Swift has been commended by the host of "The Kelly Clarkson Show" for her astute business moves which enabled her to regain ownership of her music after Scooter Braun's sale of her first six albums' master rights.

The former "American Idol" star said that it was "very smart" of Taylor to discover a way to own those songs again.

She exclaimed that Taylor had done an amazing job in discovering a loophole which has turned her into "the best-selling artist of all-time".

As she put it, "She found a way and now she's unstoppable."

When Taylor Swift's former record label, Big Machine Records was purchased by Scooter in 2019, Kelly Clarkson had a creative solution.

As one of first to suggest that Taylor should re-record her music, she tweeted "@taylorswift13 just a thought, U should go in & re-record all songs that U don't own masters on exactly how U did them but put brand new art & some kind of incentive so fans will no longer buy old versions. I'd buy all new versions just to prove point."

Taylor Swift Master Recordings

In the past, sources told Page Six that Taylor Swift had multiple chances to purchase her masters but elected not to do so.

The 33-year-old "Cruel Summer" singer, made an appearance on "Good Morning America" in 2019 and then declared that she was going to begin reproducing her albums come the start of 2020.

"Artists should have control over their work, and that is something which really matters to me," she declared with enthusiasm.

Taylor Swift '1989 (Taylor's Version)'

On Oct. 27, Taylor Swift blessed her fans with a special gift - "1989 (Taylor's Version)."

After officially revealing this project at her "Eras" Tour's US leg wrap-up, Swifties everywhere have been counting down to new re-recordings of "Taylor Swift," released in 2006, and 2017's "Reputation."

Anticipation is high for what wonders these re-imaginings will bring.

On Thursday, Taylor launched the international portion of her "Eras" Tour in Argentina. Spanning over the course of four years, this ambitious journey is expected to last until 2024.
