South Korean singer-songwriter Nahee has died, multiple media outlets reported.

Local news outlets, including Munhwa, No Cut News Korea and Maeil Business Newspaper reported Nahee's death on Friday, November 10, confirming that the crooner has passed away at the age of 24. Her record label, Mun Hwa, posted an update on Instagram to reveal that its artist became "a star in the sky."

Mun Hwa sent its deepest condolences to Nahee's bereaved family but did not disclose further details about her memorial and funeral.

"I am sorry to bring sudden news to all of you fans who have supported and loved Nahee. We send our deepest condolences," the statement continued.

Meanwhile, other reports said that the singer's actual death was on Wednesday, November 8. Her cause of death remains unknown as of press time.

A funeral ceremony was scheduled at the central funeral hall in Pyeongtaek, Gyeonggi-do on Friday, as well.

Following the emergence of the shocking news, fans left heartfelt messages to Nahee and paid tribute to her contributions to the music industry.

"Listening to Nahee's songs won't be the same anymore. RIP. she's an angel, I still can't believe that she passed away," one said on X.

"I Can't Sleep is such a soulful song! RIP, Nahee. You're an angel," another wrote, while one added, "Rest in peace my love, I will always love you."

A fourth fan said, "We lost a young sweet person but the sky has gained a star that shines without limits."

Prior to her death, Nahee was still able to perform for the last time on October 29. She also shared an Instagram post hours before her passing, showing a photo of herself wearing a winter coat and a clip of a sunset taken from a train.

It is the only post on her social media page.

Nahee marked her debut in 2019 with her single, "Blue City." She went on to release more hit songs, including "Blue Night" and "Gloomy Day."

She dropped her most recent project, "Rose," four months prior to her death.

"I want to say that my songs so far are like flowers," she said of "Rose," adding, "This song is a story I want to convey to the many people who love this [flower]."

Aside from focusing on her music, Nahee expanded her connection with her fans by creating a YouTube channel where she uploaded vlogs and cover videos.
