Russell Dickerson Tour 2024: Singer Explains Why He Decided to Extend His Current Series of Concerts

Russell Dickerson has been successfully touring over the past few months for his "Big Wheels & Backroads Tour" that's why he decided to add more dates to his series of concerts in 2024. However, there is a deeper reason why he extended the show.

Speaking with Taste of Country during the BMI Country Awards in Nashville, the musician first joked that he felt like the series of concerts is his "first big boy tour."

He added that the reason why they extended the shows is because the production is bigger this time like massive venues, big screens, and more.

"Like, we got the video screen. We got the big [production]. We're playing our first arenas this tour. You know? So it's like, 'Holy s***. We're doing it,'" he said.

Russell Dickerson Explains What Changed in Bigger Venues

When asked about the big changes that happened when he started performing at bigger venues, the singer noted that it wasn't always "as crazy" because he would always spot a hardcore fan that he constantly recognize whenever they attend.

"If it's an arena and they're flipping out, they're losing their minds, [I'll take that] all day," he added.
