Taylor Swift and Travis Kelce reportedly showed a clue that they are getting engaged soon.
Months after the whirlwind romance started, Swift and Kelce started taking their relationship to the next level; they can now comfortably show PDA in public. Amid their refusal to address things directly, rumors suggested that the pair will get engaged soon.
Is Travis Kelce Popping the Question Already?
Following the rumors about their marriage plans, New York Times journalist and podcast host Lulu Garcia-Navarro shared with CNN why she thinks the pair will be engaged soon based on the one clue the public saw.
"I am going to predict that we are going to be hearing wedding bells. I actually believe that Taylor Swift and Travis Kelce are going to get engaged, and the reason I believe that is because the parents are meeting on Monday, and this is a big deal," she said. "This is the real deal. I believe it. I am invested in this love story."
Garcia-Navarro's comment came after reports that Swift's parents would meet Kelce's family during the Monday game between the Kansas City Chiefs and Philadelphia Eagles.
A report from Entertainment Tonight said the couple's parents are expected to meet for the first time.
However, it was not the first time Swift sparked engagement rumors with a boyfriend.
Previously, she and her-then longtime boyfriend sparked the same buzz, though Joe Alwyn told WSJ that it was not the status.
"If I had a pound for every time I think I've been told I've been engaged, then I'd have a lot of pound coins. I mean, the truth is, if the answer was yes, I wouldn't say, and if the answer was no, I wouldn't say," he went on.

Taylor Swift and Travis Kelce's Marriage Plans Revealed
Prior to the engagement rumors, an insider told Yahoo Entertainment that Kelce and Swift started planning for the future.
"He and Taylor have even talked about kids," the source added. "Travis wants them in the next year or so, and Taylor, of course, is all in. He's exactly the guy she's been waiting for. He said he can see himself marrying Taylor."
Their close family ties will reportedly play a huge role in keeping their relationship strong.
