BLACKPINK was one of the honored guests during South Korea's state visit to Buckingham Palace, and they turned heads all over the place-including King Charles'!

"It is especially inspiring to see Korea's younger generation embrace the cause," said the United Kingdom's current reigning monarch during the dinner at the palace in honor of South Korean President Yoon Suk Yeol and First Lady Kim Keon Hee.

"I applaud Jennie, Jisoo, Lisa, and Rosé, better known collectively as BLACKPINK, for their role in bringing the message of environmental sustainability to a global audience as Ambassadors for the U.K.'s Presidency of COP 26, and later as advocates for the U.N. Sustainable Development Goals."

King Charles Gives Shout-out to BLACKPINK

King Charles' shout-out to the four-membered KPOP girl group also noted their accomplishments as ambassadors for the United Nations and music icons.

"I can only admire how they can prioritize these vital issues, as well as being global superstars," he added.

"Korea has matched Danny Boyle with Bong Joon-ho, James Bond with Squid Game and the Beatles' 'Let It Be' with BTS's 'Dynamite.'

"Our cultures share a remarkable ability to captivate imaginations across the world, transforming a so-called soft power into a shared superpower."

BLACKPINK Turn Heads at Buckingham Palace

Pictures of King Charles meeting BLACKPINK and the royal orchestra performing a cover of "DDU-DU-DDU-DU" went viral.

 

"Queens with a fan at BLACKPINK Palace," a fan joked.

"BLACKPINK inviting fans into their palace OMG," another added.

"He's in the presence of real queens," another added.

"As the voice of KPOP I speak for everyone when I say that BLACKPINK and King Charles III all look stunning in this photo."

Even pictures of BLACKPINK have gone viral as well, especially fan edits of each of the members and their evening gowns.

According to Harpers Bazaar, Jisoo wore a black Dior gown with puffed sleeves from their Resort 2024 collection; Rose was also in a black dress, with a sweetheart neckline; Jennie was in a white off-shoulder gown; while Lisa was in an aquamarine dress came with a cape by Georges Hobeika, as well as a necklace from Bulgari.

They were rewarded with honorary MBEs for their roles as Advocates for the COP26 Summit in Glasgow. The four women showed off their fantastic awards as they posed outside with different outfits they wore during the dinner.
