Kanye West was in Dubai recently and his former trainer, Harley Pasternak, was reportedly in the same hotel as him, but their encounter was not pleasing for him as he called security on the rapper.
According to Page Six, there have been earlier reports that West was the one who felt threatened by his former friend's presence, but it turns out, it was allegedly a completely different scenario as it was the other way around.
An insider spoke with the outlet to reveal that the two were both checked in at the Atlantis The Royal Dubai resort earlier this week when they bumped into each other.

At the time, Pasternak was making a dinner reservation when one of the members of the rapper's security team came to him and asked to identify himself.
Kanye West Instructed to Get Away From His Former Trainer
The rapper reportedly leaned in for a hug, but he told him to "get away." Later on, one of the hotel staff members asked the trainer if he felt "unsafe" about the encounter and if he needed security assistance.
Before things started going the wrong direction, Pasternak told the musician to leave and he had over a minute to do it. However, he started taking photos of the fitness enthusiast.
The photos were later obtained by a news outlet and was released online.

When West left the scene, the hotel staff asked Pasternak if he was okay because he was "physically shaken" by the encounter.
He reportedly replied, "That guy is bat**** crazy. I want nothing to do with him."
Not Harley Pasternak's First Bad Encounter With Kanye West
This was not the first incident when Pasternak felt unsafe around the rapper because in 2016, he called the police and paramedics when West allegedly acted erratically during one of their workout sessions.
Later on, the "Donda" rapper was taken to the hospital for his temporary psychosis.
Just last year, the issue went viral on social media again amid the rapper's controversial antisemitic comments as West leaked an alleged message from the trainer who threatened him that he'll be "institutionalized again."
As of this writing, it's unclear when the whole ordeal about their friendship began.
Kanye West is in Dubai along with his children to celebrate Thanksgiving.
