Happy birthday, Miley Cyrus! The musician is celebrating a very special day today and in honor of the occassion, let's dive into the singer's personal life, career beginnings, biography, and many more.

Born Destiny Hope Cyrus on November 23, 1992, the singer is now 31 years old! She is the daughter of famous country musician Billy Ray Cyrus and her mom is Tish Cyrus.

Her career started taking off at a young age as she was cast in the popular Disney Channel series called "Hannah Montana." Since she couldn't fly in and out of Hollywood due to her busy schedule, her family opted to move to Los Angeles.

She only auditioned for the main character's best friend, but she was later surprised when she was called to try out for the titular role.

Initially, she was denied because of her age and her small built, but thanks to her acting and singing abilities, the producers were able to see how big of a star she was at the time.

Since then, the singer changed her name legally to "Miley Cyrus" and became one of the biggest child stars and singers of all time up to this day.

Miley Cyrus Music Career, Net Worth

The singer released her debut album "Meet Miley Cyrus" in 2007 under Walt Disney and Hollywood Records. Since then her music career trajectory became successful.

Cyrus went on to drop more albums like "Breakout," "Can't Be Tamed," "Bangerz," "Younger Now," "Plastic Hearts," and "Endless Summer Vacation."

Miley Cyrus Not Touring Anymore

Earlier this year, Miley Cyrus dropped her first album in over three years titled "Endless Summer Vacation" and it featured the massive summer song "Flowers."

Fans were looking forward to seeing the singer take the big stage again at different venues, but it seems like it won't happen anytime soon as Cyrus declared she won't be touring anymore.

In a TikTok video shared in August 2023, the musician revealed that touring has a dark side.

"There's a level of ego that has to play a part, that I feel gets overused when I'm on tour and once that switches on, it's hard to turn it off. And I think when you're training your ego every single night to be active, that's the hardest switch for me to turn off," she explained. (via People Magazine)

She also previously clarified that she didn't want to sleep on a moving bus and it's not what's best for her in the present.
