Lady Gaga has proven once again why her fans, the Little Monsters, call her "Mother Monster."
According to Pop Tingz on X (formerly known as Twitter), the "Just Dance" singer garnered over 3.4 billion streams on the music streaming platform, Spotify in the last 11 months of 2023-making this year her biggest streaming year so far.
Additionally what was even more surprising is the fact that Lady Gaga has not released any new music since her 2020 album, "Chromatica."
"See, when you're mother," a fan wrote.
"She's so good," another added.
"see what happens when you make timeless classics."
However, there were still skeptics, who shared that the "Paparazzi" singer "hasn't been relevant since 2010." They shared a screenshot of a tweet from Chart Data, mapping all the artists who topped the Billboard Year-End list since 2009.
Lady Gaga Gets Streaming Boost From TikTok
While Lady Gaga has not released music in three years, she continues to be one of the most prominent figures in pop culture and one of the most prominent artists in the pop genre in music.
Back in December 2022, the singer's music went viral after being used in a "Wednesday"fan-made edit uploaded on TikTok.
The song, "Bloody Mary," is not even included in the Netflix series' official soundtrack, however, fans have taken an intense liking to it and associated the song with the show.
According to reports, "Wednesday" became the third-most watched Engish-language series on the streaming platform during that time; the show's huge ratings and viewership influenced the fan edit as well as Lady Gaga's song in the process.
"Bloody Mary" was released as a B-side track from the singer's sophomore album, "Born This Way," released in 2011.

Lady Gaga Dropping New Music?
It seems like while the world cannot get enough of Lady Gaga's music, the singer is returning to the recording studio to dust off her vocal cords for a musical comeback.
According to reports, the singer has been hinting that she will be releasing new music soon. She was spotted having a four-hour dinner with Black Eyed Peas founder, Will.i.am recently. They left the restaurant holding large folders.
Throughout the three years Lady Gaga has not released new music, she has been working on several acting gigs as well as her beauty brand Haus Labs.
