When it comes to her communications with her divorced husband Sam Asghari, Britney Spears seems to be in a better position.
According to people with direct information, the 41-year-old pop queen and her 29-year-old former are now in a more "cordial" relationship, as reported by TMZ.
It's possible that Sam, who was seen out at a LA Lakers game this week, feels that he's getting enough consideration, which contributes to their friendlier relationships.
The insiders claim that the ambitious actor continues to reside in a Los Angeles high-rise apartment that Britney apparently pays for about $10,000 a month.
Sam is expected to receive a sizeable payout from the divorce settlement, which the couple is almost done settling.

The sources state that a settlement in the low six digits is anticipated. Britney has been handling her portion of the divorce settlement with the help of well-known divorce lawyer Laura Wasserman.
Early on in the negotiations, it was reported that neither of the ex-partners was speaking to the other anymore and that they were only communicating via their attorneys. Their half-sister Kori, whom Federline shares with his ex-fiance Shar Jackson, joined the group. The 18-year-old Sean Preston was spotted practicing his paddle boarding while sporting a pair of light-colored Ed Hardy board shorts.
While Kori was spotted wearing a considerably darker combination that included a black swim top and shorts, his younger brother Jayden James, 17, chose to wear a pair of swim trunks in navy and royal blue colors.
Regarding their father, the 45-year-old backup dancer was dressed in black surf shorts, a bright red swim top, and a ponytail. Even though Federline and the boys moved to Hawaii officially in August of last year, this is the first time paparazzi pictures of them have appeared online.
