More than a year has gone by since Wale released his third album The Gifted and fans have been patiently waiting for a solid follow-up. Well, it looks like it may be coming sooner than later.

As Complex reports, the MMG rapper released a trailer for his forthcoming LP The Album About Nothing.

In the trailer, Wale can be seen in the studio with Jerry Seinfeld. He also opens up about his personal growth and he even questions his artistry, asking if he has lost his fans.

The three-minute clip features tidbits of some of the rough patches the "Bad" rapper has faced throughout his career including his public Twitter beef with Meek Mill, the phone call to Complex about not being included on the "50 Best Albums of 2013" list and the time he confronted a Toronto Raptors broadcaster who called him a "local rapper" at a Wizards game.

With all that going on, the trailer left out one vital piece of information: a release date.

Check out the trailer after the jump.

Last month, it was reported Wale would be looking for new management.

Wale had been under the management of Roc Nation since 2009 when his debut album Attention Deficit was released but according to The Source, that is no longer the case.

The magazine's site reports the split is a mutual decision between Wale and the label, and he will be looking for a new record company.
