Following the news of her father's health, Britney Spears decided to take a lighthearted approach and express herself through dance.
In an Instagram video on Tuesday, she showed off her moves in a pink lacy lingerie dress while grooving to Peggy Lee's 1958 classic "Fever."
Despite Jamie Spears' recent surgery to amputate his leg, the "Baby One More Time" singer was all smiles in a post on social media.
Her sultry dance moves had her swaying her hips and whipping her blonde hair as she pranced around in burgundy high heels.
Britney captioned the post, "Filmed this last night, but my dress was too big !!!!"
Jamie Spears' Health Battle
Though Jamie Spears' health has taken a dramatic downturn, and he recently had to have a leg amputated, Britney Spears is still not open to reconciliation with her estranged dad.
An apparent rumor has spread that the "Toxic" singer is attempting to reconcile with her estranged father, Jamie.
Despite TMZ's report on Tuesday, multiple insiders have informed Page Six that this claim is untrue.
Though there were efforts to negotiate a resolution in court, the Grammy award-winning artist and her father have failed to reconcile their differences regarding the reported mishandling of her finances while under conservatorship.
Consequently, this dispute will not be solved anytime soon.
Jamie did take on the role of conservator for 13 years and he was in a relatively secure financial position. But court documents reveal that he gave himself an estimated compensation of $6 million over this period.

The Despise and Fury
In Britney Spears' memoir, "The Woman in Me," she made it clear that her hatred towards her father ran deep. The mom-of-two was incredibly resentful of the idea that he viewed her as nothing more than a source of money.
It's no surprise then that she stated she would never forgive him for the emotional abuse and hardship he caused her.
A significant problem that Britney Spears faced, which she mentions in her book, was being harassed by her father, Jamie, about her physical appearance. She claims he would "repeatedly" tell her that she was fat and limited the food available to her for two years, only allowing chicken and canned vegetables.
News of Jamie Spears' health scare began to circulate in October when Page Six reported that the 71-year-old had been hospitalized due to an infection related to his mid-2000s knee replacement surgery.
According to an inside source, although Britney is working hard towards her recovery, a reunion with Jamie will unfortunately not happen.
