The music scene is waiting with bated breath when Dua Lipa will be releasing another single, as her upcoming album is just around the corner.

After the success of the singer's latest single, "Houdini," raked in, fans cannot wait to hear another song, and her new social media update seems to be alluding to just that.

"Text me," Dua Lipa wrote with a kiss emoji along with the number, +1 (917) 810-3415.

She also included a mock-up picture of her contact information, however, there is not a lot that the picture and the post give away; fans are already speculating that it might be a little teaser for an upcoming release.

Dua Lipa Returns From 'Vacation'

Dua Lipa's fans have been eagerly anticipating a new album from the singer after she released her chart-topping hit album, "Future Nostalgia," in 2020.

For the past couple of months, the "Don't Start Now" singer has been teasing her upcoming album and even released the first single in support of it.

Fans often joke about Dua Lipa "always being on a vacation," which is what they claim to be the reason behind the long wait between releases.

Dua Lipa Teases New Album

Dua Lipa has shared little tidbits about the album here and there over the last couple of months, however, she did not reveal what its title will be.

"It has a vision. It has a name-for now," the singer said during an interview, before noting what fans can expect. "I've definitely grown up. Overall, whether it's sonically or in terms of the themes, I've matured. It's like I'm coming into my power and not afraid to talk about things. It's about understanding what I want.

"[...] The album is different-it's still pop, but it's different sonically, and there's more of a lyrical theme."

She later revealed that the album has a "psychedelic-pop vibe," and that she worked on it with her friends, Tame Impala's Kevin Parker, Tobias Jesso Jr., Danny Harle, and Caroline Ailin.

"[...] And I just wanted to have that kind of really organic element that I had while I was on tour," she continued. "Because when I was touring for a whole year, I just started to fall in love with the songs and the live element, and I was like, 'I just want to bring all of that into this new record.' So I'm very excited."
