Almost every single week, musicians have been popping out from left to right by constantly releasing new music to meet the demands of fans. Adele dropped her album "30" a few years back and many people have been wondering if she will come out with fresh new tracks anytime soon.

The musician, who had just wrapped up her "Weekends with Adele" residency in Las Vegas, Nevada, spoke in a cover story for The Hollywood Reporter where she shared her plans about her music.

When asked if new music is coming our way, the British singer didn't think twice and immediately answered: "I haven't even thought about it."

However she clarified that it wasn't because she never had time to work on anything in a recording studio, but rather, she just had nothing to say to her fans yet as she don't think she has anything to share with her supporters and listeners yet.

Why Adele Won't Release New Music Soon

In addition, one of the reasons why she never had the chance to visit a recording studio was because of her residency in Las Vegas, which began last year.

"I get nervous about wearing my voice out [at the residency]. It's a lot of singing. It's two hours. It's all live. It's a lot. And I fucking motormouth and chat me ass off as well," she explained. (via Forbes)

Even though Adele won't release new music anytime soon, fans will still get a chance to watch her perform live as her residency has been extended to the summer of 2024.

Adele Opens Up More About Her Music

Elsewhere in the conversation, the singer said whenever she writes music, she has to wait for "a feeling" first.

"If I get antsy, that's when I know I have to go to the studio," she explained, adding that she feels the opposite and it may be the reason why she hasn't recorded anything yet.

Regarding previous collaboration offers from other artists, the singer said she turned down a lot because some of them were an "obvious no."

However, when it came to those that she was interested in, time didn't seem to work out because of her schedule.
