Adele is a Grammy-winning singer and multiplatinum recording artist. This is why it was surprising to learn that despite the fame and impact that she wields today, she still gets starstruck and anxious whenever an artist of similar stature is within her vicinity.
Adele's Las Vegas Residency had been the talk of the town of the year, with her laughable antics on stage, to pure and tear-jerking moments - the internet loved every viral clip that came from the weekly concert.
But as for Adele herself, she has some very memorable moments backstage. Turns out, when Lady Gaga attended the show, she was very anxious about it!
Why Is Adele Anxious When Lady Gaga Attended 'Weekends With Adele'?
Speaking to The Hollywood Reporter, Adele confessed that when she learned that Lady Gaga was in the house, she was spooked.
"I've spent a bit of time with her, but I rate her so hard," Adele gushed of the MTV Tricon Awardee.
Adele spiraled when she learned that Lady Gaga would be watching her, prompting her to criticize and slam her own show.
"I was like, 'The show's terrible. It's rubbish. I'm singing terribly. I'm not funny. My dress is rubbish this week.' I was judging myself. And she's not like that. But she made me really, really nervous," Adele revealed.
Of course, that wasn't actually the case for Adele, but despite this, she had this to say: "I shat myself the whole show."
Not many knew that Lady Gaga attended "Weekends With Adele" at the Colosseum at Caesar's Palace in Las Vegas because she "came in disguise."
"Well, not in disguise, she just wasn't dressed up. It's like me, I've put sweatpants on [today]," she clarified.
"Weekends With Adele" had been a great show for A-list celebrities and veteran musicians to watch in Las Vegas. The Brit-winner even admitted that she didn't know Shania Twain was at one of her shows until only she saw her in a video that she walked just past her while performing at the audience.

Starting Jan. 19, 2024, Adele's Las Vegas Residency, "Weekends With Adele," will continue up until June 2024.
Hopefully this time, Adele could invite her mother, whom she had told The Hollywood Reporter was the only person she wanted to be in the room that hasn't yet.
