Taylor Swift is known to be besties with many celebrities, and another star added to the growing list is Jessica Chastain, whom she met back in 2011 during the Met Gala.
"We were both sitting next to each other ... and she was so sweet," Chastain recalled her first time meeting the "Cruel Summer" singer.
"I just went through a break-up and I was talking to her about that, and we went and danced together - it was such a fun night."
The actress shared more about her friendship with Swift during her appearance on "The Tonight Show" with Jimmy Fallon.

Chastain then narrated how the next day, she received an email from iTunes, which included Swift's name, which led her to believe it was simply an advertisement--it was not.
"[She] had made me a break-up playlist that she sent me! Isn't that the sweetest thing?" She continued. "And here I thought it was like a Taylor Swift advertisement.
"And she had, like, curated all these break-up songs to send me to help me get through my break-up."
Fallon was left shocked by Chastain's revelation, as this was the first time everyone had heard of Swift curating a breakup playlist for anyone.

Taylor Swift, Jessica Chastain's Friendship
Unlike, Swift's other celebrity pals, Chastain is not included in her inner circle, however, it is clear that the pair have formed a bond over the years.
According to Us Weekly, Chastain was able to attend one of the "Look What You Made Me Do" singer's highly anticipated, and sold-out "The Eras" tour shows.
"I was in Mexico City and she was touring there [in August]. I was like, 'Oh, I'm going to go to Taylor's concert,'" Chastain said, adding that she also took her assistant with her, who happens to be "obsessed" with the singer.
Back in 2011, both stars were struggling with their love lives, however, the tides have turned this time around; Chastain tied the knot with her now-husband, Gian Luca Passi de Preposulo in 2017, while Swift is in a relationship with NFL star Travis Kelce.
Swift is known to help women out after a breakup--like Sophie Turner, who is currently divorcing Joe Jonas.
According to reports, another friend, Alana Haim, from the band HAIM, shared what it is like being friends with Swift: "She has always put her friends before herself in every situation.
"She's the kind of friend that checks up on us for weeks after a tough break-up and is a shoulder to lean on."
