Britney Spears is remembering the horrifying moment when her home gym caught fire.

The music sensation talked about the three-year-old event on Instagram on Monday.

Spears posted the post with a picture of the aftermath in her Los Angeles house basement with the words, "Reflecting back remembering when I burned the gym down in 2020."

A variety of burned exercise equipment is visible in the photo, covered in layers of ash.

Spears stated in an Instagram post from April 2020 that the terrifying experience occurred after she ignited some candles.

"It was an accident .... but yes .... I burnt it down. I walked past the door to the gym and flames [fire emojis] BOOM !!!!!! By the Grace of God the alarm went off after that and yippy hoorah nobody got hurt," Spears, now 42, shared, not minding the possibility of being bashed.

She added, "Unfortunately now I have only two pieces of equipment left lol and a one-sided mirror gym!!!!! But it could be much worse so I'm grateful. Pssss I like working out better outside anyways."

Spears truly needs to be more careful with candles and fire.

The "Toxic" crooner has already experienced difficulties at the hands of candles in the past, before this gym tragedy.

When Spears was on vacation in New York City in 2002, E! News revealed that she nearly burned down her apartment after inadvertently leaving a burning candle unattended while shopping.

The site at the time stated, "Spears' mother reveals that Britney's candle fetish sparked an earlier fire in the family's Louisiana home."

"Lynne Spears claims that her well-known child accidentally lit her bathroom on fire with a misplaced candle." Since the publication of her shocking memoir, "The Woman in Me," in October, Spears has dominated the headlines.

The book, which details the celebrity's ascent to fame, sparked controversy as Spears made a number of allegations, one of which was that she was coerced into having an abortion by her ex, Justin Timberlake, after she fell pregnant with his child.

Although it's unknown if Spears' gym is back up and running, the veteran performer has maintained her physical fitness, as evidenced by the dance videos she posts on social media.

The "Baby One More Time" singer frequently uses dance as a form of exercise and stress relief. She has dabbled in pole dancing as well as routines involving knives and other objects. Spears disclosed that she lifts weights and does an ab circuit as part of her real fitness regimen.
