Despite her former partner Sam Asghari's recent criticism of their brief union, in a recent ad featuring the thought-provoking slogan "some loves last," Britney Spears seemed unmoved by it. In fact, it appears that she's keen on rubbing the fact in - as she is spotted in nothing but a bikini while lounging with a mystery guy.

As her followers flocked to social media to analyze whether her ex-husband, 29, was disparaging the pop singer in a PETA promotional film, the Grammy winner, 42, appeared unbothered on Wednesday as she went swimming with a shirtless dapper guy.

For all we know, Asghari might not even be talking about her after all.

The mother of two looked happy and content in a video that she posted to her Instagram account.

She was wearing a black fedora, huge shades, and a blue bikini. She also had a cigarette in her hand. She was hanging out with her old friend and manager Cade Hudson's friend, Benjamin Mallinan, who is rumored to be her new manager.

She captioned the video, which also included her playing with her new dog, with the words "Paradise playing with my baby."

Hours after Asghari's new campaign, which encourages fans to adopt rather than shop, was released, the post was made. The celebrity, who was briefly married to Spears, flaunted his muscular arms while cuddling a cute dog in a picture that curiously said, "Some loves last."

Asghari petted another adorable puppy without wearing a shirt. The picture declared, "You can adopt love, but you can't buy it." Asghari was shown playing with his dog Porsha in a video that was part of the ad.

"Hi, I'm Sam Asghari and we are doing a photo shoot with PETA. I purchased my dog and I love her,' Sam tells viewers. But now that I know more about the homeless animal crisis, I would never buy another dog again. Every time an animal is purchased from a pet store or breeder, an animal in a shelter loses an opportunity to find a loving home," he said.

"There's certain things animals teach us. It's definitely something that makes me more compassionate and makes me a better person. The single most important thing that you can do to help end the crisis is to get your animal fixed and be sure to adopt, don't shop."

Sam used to own a dog named Porsha with his former spouse, but they separated and Sam got custody of the dog.

Originally, Britney, 42, received the puppy from Sam with the goal of teaching it to "protect her." Britney was given custody of Sawyer, their Australian Shepherd, and three other smaller dogs after their divorce. PETA recently attacked her when she bought a second puppy.

Less than a year after getting married in June 2022, Sam filed for divorce from Britney in August 2023. According to TMZ last month, Britney and Sam are now on a more "cordial" basis. Sam may feel sufficiently cared for, which contributes to their more laid-back relationships.
