Gwen Stefani recently announced that she will bid farewell to 2023 without her beloved husband, Blake Shelton, by her side.
Despite their blissful union just a few years ago, the couple has decided to spend the upcoming new year apart due to their demanding work schedules.
During a recent conversation with Access Hollywood, Gwen she revealed the reason behind her inability to share a midnight kiss with her partner Blake, aged 45, on New Year's Eve.
"Well, it's funny because I was going to be at his show, and then Vegas called and wanted me to be in Vegas," the No Doubt singer said.
Gwen revealed she has been invited to grace the stage at the highly anticipated New Year's Eve Live: Nashville's Big Bash in an exciting turn of events.
"Last year I did Vegas, and I was like, 'Remind me to never do Vegas again.' [But] you sometimes want to... not be the host."
"So I was like, 'Eh, I'm gonna do it.' If you're gonna be working, then I'm gonna be working - so I'm just gonna fly in and out. It's gonna be awesome. I'm really looking forward to it," the singer further said.
Despite not celebrating the new year together, speculations of marital issues haunted the couple.
