Taylor Swift and Travis Kelce have been taking over the world of social media by storm and one particular country artist recently expressed his opinion about the couple's relationship. However, he believes that his comments might be up for debate.
The musician attended the CMA Awards last month where he hosted the show. During the red carpet event, he spoke to Access Hollywood where he gave his stamp of approval over the pair's romance.
He explained that since he's a sportsperson himself, he was impressed that the pop superstar was able to have a relationship with an athlete playing on the field of football.
"You know, she's got her a football player!... Like, she's got her a damn...man. Some of these guys, you know....[Kelce is a] tough dude," he said.
His comments didn't end there as he added, "Pick her up. Tote her around a little bit. Do some smooching."
Later on, he acknowledged that his opinions might not be politically correct as he backtracked, adding, "Am I canceled yet? Am I in trouble?" (via Taste of Country)
Patrick Mahomes on Travis Kelce, Taylor Swift Romance
Aside from Luke Bryan, the Kansas City Chiefs player Patrick Mahomes also expressed his approval over the couple's relationship, but he admitted that his team initially made fun of their romance.
The NFL player appeared in an interview with CBS Mornings where he explained that he and his teammates initially "stayed away" from Kelce for him to do his thing.

"he started bringing Taylor around and you realize how cool of a person she is. So for us - I mean, it was a couple of jokes here and there in the beginning - but now, she's just part of Chiefs Kingdom and she's part of the team," he noted.
In addition, he was also happy that his good friend was lucky enough to get a partner who is a "great woman."

In other updates, Taylor Swift brought her family— dad, Scott-at the Arrowhead Stadium in Kansas City on Christmas day where they all watched the Kansas City Chiefs game.
