Music lovers have seen a share of the most relatable chart-topping hit tunes that have made them dance, sing, laugh, and cry along in 2023. As we usher in the dawning of 2024, updates of new album releases for the coming year have made their rounds in multiple media outlets. We've taken our picks on the music materials we see potentials in picking up on top of the charts in 2024:
'Vultures'-Kanye West and Ty Dolla $ign (January 12 Release)
Kanye West has dominated the headlines for over a year now due to his antisemitic comments. Such a controversy the rapper has been facing makes him a top pick for a musician who shows potential in topping the charts with a new album release for 2024. As per Billboard, Kanye's anti-semitic tirades peaked in their outbursts beginning October 2022.
West's collaboration with Grammy-nominated musician, Ty Dolla $ign in the former's upcoming 2024 release album, "Vultures," is a big bonus in equipping West to enhance his potential to propel his new music to becoming a hit in the new year.
'Coming Home'-Usher (February 11 Release)
Usher's release of his 2024 album on February 11, coincides with the day he will be the half-time performer at the Super Bowl 2024. As per Variety, Apple Music, the NFL, and Roc Nation confirmed Usher being the half-time performer for next year's Super Bowl event in Allegiant Stadium in Las Vegas, Nevada that's going to be aired live via CBS.
To date, Usher has had nine number one hits on the Billboard Hot 100, as per Billboard.com.

'This is Me... Now'-Jennifer Lopez (February 16 Release)
Jennifer "J. Lo." Lopez is a renowned artist, known to be both a talented singer and actress. Lopez debuted her music career in 1999 with her breakthrough album, "On the 6," as per Britannica. The lead single off this album was "If You Had My Love" which reached the top of the Billboard Hot 100 in 1999.
J. Lo's studio album to be released after 10 years since her last album was released, is set to be available on the market beginning on February 16, 2024, as per Deadline. Lopez's 2024 studio album is called, "This is Me...Now." Because J.Lo. has a proven track record of sustaining a successful music career, in addition to being a renowned actress, many see Jennifer's music comeback as being warmly received, as well.
Take note, though, the above-mentioned 2024 album picks are only music project releases within the first quarter of the new year. Most media outlets have yet to announce the other 2024 album releases for the remaining months of the coming year, as news regarding their releases becomes available to music communities.
