Zac Brown and Kelly Yazdi, who secretly wed four months ago, have made the decision to part ways. The model, 35, and the 45-year-old hitmaker, Chicken Fried, jointly released a statement on Friday disclosing the tragic news.
"We are in the process of divorce. Our mutual respect for one another remains. We wish each other the best and will always appreciate our time together," the estranged couple told TMZ. "As we navigate this personal matter, we simply request privacy during this time," the statement further read.
The announcement follows the couple's private ceremony to tie the knot in Coweta County, Georgia, at the end of August.
About a year after the model showed off a large ring on her finger, the couple got engaged.
In December 2022, People was informed by one insider that "he proposed in Hawaii a while ago." "It was very intimate and the couple has kept it very private."
Although Yazdi and Brown the Zac Brown brarely shared photos or videos of each other, she had been on tour with the band since at least July.
While they were traveling, she was visible in an Instagram photo honoring Zac's birthday. But once Kelly canceled her Instagram account, admirers began chatting about romantic problems. She deleted Brown off her bio, deleted all of their photos, and unfollowed the singer of the Zac Brown Band after reactivating it. For Brown, this is his second divorce.
After 12 years of marriage, Brown and his ex-wife Shelly announced their separation back in 2018. Their shared children are Joni, 11, Georgia, 12, Lucy, 14, and Justice, and Alexander, 8.

Kelly Yazdi is a 32-year-old SAG-AFTRA actor, stuntwoman, and model. She was born in Minnesota in 1991, and when she was a teenager, her family relocated to Los Angeles. Yazdi was working on her UC Santa Barbara BA while simultaneously improving her acting abilities. She returned to Los Angeles after graduating from college to further her career as a stuntwoman, model, and actor in Hollywood. Her big break came from appearing in the critically acclaimed documentary Herb Riits: L.A. Style. She went on to feature in numerous other films after that, including The Martial Arts Kids and The Beautiful Ones.
Although it's unclear how Yazdi and 45-year-old country musician Zac Brown first connected, it's obvious that their connection developed quickly, as reported by Pink Villa. Both Yazdi and Brown, who has five children from his first marriage to Shelly, kept the specifics of their connection private. Within four months of getting married, the couple announced their divorce, leaving fans to wonder just what went wrong in their brief courtship.
The couple and their legal representatives have not disclosed to the public any information regarding their separation, even in the midst of their pending divorce.
