Ariana Grande is dropping her highly anticipated album in 2024, and fans cannot help but speculate it might be about her relationship with Ethan Slater.

Before dating Slater, the singer slash actress was married to Dalton Gomez for a little over two years; the former couple divorced and she moved on with her "Wicked" co-star shortly after.

Grande recently reflected on her life following the debut of her controversial relationship, calling 2023 "One of the most transformative, most challenging, and yet happiest and most special years of my life, there were so many beautiful and yet polarized feelings."

"I have never felt more pride or joy or love while simultaneously feeling so deeply misunderstood by people who don't know me, who piece whispers together and make what they want out of my life," she added, seemingly alluding to the cheating allegations surrounding her new relationship.

Ariana Grande Returns to the Music Scene

Grande's last release was back in 2020. She dropped her "Positions" album, and got cast as Glinda the Good Witch in the film adaptation of 'Wicked," and while many were enthusiastic and happy for her, the singer's fans could not help but feel like she was stepping away from music.

Now that she has officially confirmed that she is back to the recording studio, working on a new album, which is dubbed "AG7" by fans, she reflected on her life.

"I am reacting to things that deserve my energy only and removing and protecting myself from things that do not, I feel more human than ever. I feel more deeply than ever. I feel softer and stronger, all at once."

Will Ariana Grande's Music Be About Ethan Slater?

Grande's relationship with Slater has garnered mixed reactions from netizens. Many accuse the singer of being a homewrecker, while others are not and chastise those who criticize her.

However, there is one thing that they all agree on: they want to know more about the relationship through Grande's point of view and whether she will be making music about Slater.

"If Ariana Grande doesn't have some kind of SpongeBob reference to depict her relationship with Ethan Slater in AG7, we don't want it," one wrote.

"What if AG7 has a sequel to Thank U, Next that responds to all this Ethan/Spongebob drama."

"How can you be dating ARIANA GRANDE and go out in a tracksuit while she's wearing a mini skirt and heels like?? SPONGEBOB NEEDS TO BE GONE FOR AG7."
