Jin of BTS is coming back and he just might release something new immediately after!

As he completes his necessary military service in Korea, the singer-who is also the eldest member of BTS-shared a new video on New Year's Eve, hinting at his impending musical comeback.

"It's January, everyone. The new year has come. I will become a year older in January," he said in Korean in the previously recorded video. "I'll be in my mid-30s by now. Did you all make a snowman? I'm still in the past so I don't know if it's snowing or not but if it snowed you have to make a snowman and go back to being kids and do snowball fights." "I'm leaving this video so you can watch my pretty, handsome face and spend January and February warmly. I miss you all. I miss you a lot," he added. "Wait just a bit more and you'll be able to see me with short hair. I'll grow my hair quickly this year and I'll be able to start working hard soon."

Since his enlistment service is about to expire, Jin urged his admirers to "wait a few more months." He hinted that he will return "in February and March."

The vocalist became the first member of BTS to enlist in the military, joining Jung Kook, V, Jimin, Suga, RM, and J-Hope.

Early in 2023, J-Hope and Suga enrolled, and in December, V started his mandatory duty. V wrote a note to his followers prior to leaving, that he would "miss [them] so much" during his absence.

The only BTS members that hadn't started their required military service were RM, Jimin, V, and Jung Kook. "We appreciate the BTS fans who never stop loving us. Weverse last month released a statement from BigHit Music that read, "We would like to provide follow-up information regarding the military enlistment of RM, Jimin, V, and Jungkook."

"To fulfill their military service obligations, RM, Jimin, V, and Jung Kook are enlisting as active-duty soldiers in the Army." BTS declared that they would take a break in 2022 to allow each of the seven members to fulfill their obligations for military service. The next meeting of the group is scheduled for 2025.

In another news, it is apparent that BTS is still setting records even though they are currently on a sabbatical.

Three of their songs have been chosen by the US space agency NASA for their next lunar expedition. Due to their necessary military enrollment, RM and other members of the group are not present in the music industry.

The 29-year-old rapper from South Korea, though, has created history once more when NASA's The Moon Tunes Playlist includes his solo song Moonchild.

In addition, he space agency has chosen two BTS songs with space-related themes. Both 134340 and Mikrokosmos by BTS will be included on the Moon Tunes Playlist.
