Matt Skiba might have had a successful career when he became a member of Blink-182 after replacing Tom Delonge back in the day, but he also revealed that he regretted some things; find out what it was below.

According to NME, the musician became a member of the legendary pop-punk band in 2015 to replace DeLonge because, at the time, he had to focus on himself and "change the world for my kids."

This was not the first time the then-frontman left the group as he also did it in 2005 to work on his other musical project, the band Angels & Airwaves.

Skiba became a part of Blink-182 for over seven years, but it was later announced that he had to leave because DeLonge will reunite with his bandmates in 2022, which became a big deal back then because the trio—DeLonge, Travis Barker, and Mark Hoppus—got together.

Matt Skiba Regrets His Fashion Choices During Time With Blink-182

Matt Skiba recently appeared in an episode of the "Tuna On Toast with Stryker" podcast where he recalled some of his memories with the band, especially the time when he had his first photoshoot with them, but he also considered it as something that he regret because of how he presented himself fashion-wise.

At the time, he noted that one of his pals ran a clothing company called Hurley and he forgot that the members of the group had been wearing the clothing brand "forever."

Upon arriving at the photoshoot, he wore an outfit similar to what DeLonge would wear.

"So when I showed up to practice, I've got a baseball hat on and this Hurley T-shirt, and everyone was like, 'What the f***?' Like, 'You fucking poser! You're trying to be Tom!' and I was like, 'I didn't know we were going to take a picture.'"

Elsewhere in the conversation, the musician reflected on him leaving his bandmates once DeLonge came back to the band for them to become the original lineup again.

It appears that he had no hard feelings about it as he told the host: "It ran its course. When those guys first asked me to join the band, I thought they were on acid, thinking that that was gonna fly. And it did somehow," he said.

Regardless, he was still grateful for the massive opportunity he received as he added, "I'm really thankful for those guys and for the work we did."
