Kesha, Dr. Luke Legal Battle

TRIGGER WARNING: This part of the story contains topics about rape and sexual assault, reader's discretion is advised.

The legal battle between the singer and her producer began in 2014 when Kesha accused Dr. Luke, whose real name is Lukasz Gottwald, of drugging and raping her back in 2005.

Throughout the years, the famed record producer denied the allegations and even countersued her for defamation. He claimed that Kesha only accused him as she allegedly wanted to get out of his record label, but the pop star denied it as well.

The two finally settled last year, and both of them mutually agreed to close this chapter of their lives.
