Cher is concerned for her son Elijah Blue Allman's mental health and believes her kid is missing. She is now pleading for her to be appointed as his temporary guardian.

The singer of "Believe," according to newly filed court filings on Thursday, is unable to properly "manage his finances" due to his "severe mental health and substance abuse issues," even though Allman is scheduled to receive funds from a trust.

According to Cher in the docs that Page Six was able to get, Allman's money would be "immediately spent on drugs," leaving him with nothing left over to take care of himself. She also thinks that Allman, 47, would put his "life at risk" if he had no control over his finances.

The 77-year-old singer of "If I Can Turn Back Time" further stated in the court filings that Marieangela King, Allman's spouse with whom he had just reconnected, would "take steps to prevent" Allman from learning about the conservatorship hearing scheduled for January 5.

However, a judge on Friday refused to grant what Cher wanted immediately. The matter will be revisited by the court in the coming weeks.

Judge Jessica A. Uzcategui of Los Angeles Superior Court found that Cher's attorneys had not provided Elijah Blue Allman and his counsel with the required paperwork to provide them enough time to present their case. She set a new hearing date of January 29.

Cher argued in the court document that Allman's finances would suffer "no harm" from having a temporary conservator. The lawyer for Allman did not respond to Page Six's request for comment right away. At the end of December, Cher petitioned to become her son's sole conservator in order to help with estate management.

The "Moonstruck" actress stated in her initial request that Allman, with whom she shared a son, singer Gregg Allman, was not able to "form or express a preference" for the appointment of a conservator.

Allman earns $120,000 year, according to Cher's statement, and he "is entitled to regular distributions from a trust established by his father for his benefit."

Meanwhile, King told Page Six that she found the conservatorship "deeply disturbing" after Cher's request became known.

According to a separate statement from the musician's representative, "And despite a clear pattern of being habitually bulldozed over and repeatedly undermined, a pattern that has existed throughout her 10 year marriage, Ms. King wholly rejects any inference that she is incapable of caring for her husband or making sound medical and/or financial decisions on his behalf," Elijah, 36, and King have been wed for ten years.
