August was a busy month for Taylor Swift. According to a RIAA report released yesterday, 12 of her songs were certified Platinum.

  1. "Love Story" was certified seven-times platinum (7 million sales)
  2. "You Belong With Me" was certified six-times platinum (6 million sales)
  3. "We Are Never Ever Getting Back Together" was certified five-times platinum (5 million sales)
  4. "Our Song" was certified four-times platinum (4 million sales)
  5. "Mean" was certified triple platinum (3 million sales)
  6. "Mine" was certified triple platinum (3 million sales)
  7. "Back to December" was certified double platinum (2 million sales)
  8. "Fifteen" was certified double platinum (2 million sales)
  9. "Picture to Burn" was certified double platinum (2 million sales)
  10. "Safe & Sound" was certified double platinum (2 million sales)
  11. "Crazier" was certified platinum (1 million sales)
  12. "The Story of Us" was certified platinum (1 million sales)

Then came the platinum awards for "Everything Has Changed," the single with Ed Sheeran and "Highway Don't Care" (which hit double platinum), the tune with Tim McGraw and Keith Urban. "Enchanted" came in on the tail end, hitting gold with 500,000 sales.

In other RIAA news, "We Were Us" by Keith Urban and Miranda Lambertt hit platinum as did The Band Perry's "Done."

On the gold front, eight more artists were awarded gold certification:

  • Brad Paisley - "River Bank"
  • Colt Ford - "Drivin' Around Song"
  • Dustin Lynch - "Where It's At"
  • Florida Georgia Line - "Dirt"
  • Jason Aldean - "Burnin' It Down,"
  • Justin Moore - "Lettin' the Night Roll"
  • Kacey Musgraves - "Follow Your Arrow"
  • Kenny Chesney - "American Kids" and "Everybody Wants to Go to Heaven" (featuring the Wailers)
