Kid Cudi made a shocking move to promote his newest album, "Insano."

Unfortunately, the rapper faced harsh criticism and accusations of being "satanic."

'Pure Satanic S-t'

Kid Cudi made waves when he unveiled two imposing statues in Paris and Long Beach, California, Towering at an impressive 30 feet, both silver statues showcased the iconic rapper with outstretched arms, with lights shining through his eerie hollow eye sockets and mouth.

Cudi, known as Scott Mescudi, faced severe backlash from numerous fans regarding the statues, with many accusing him of engaging in dark and occult practices.

One person said, "Sad, sad Cudi sold his soul and had to wear a dress to become relevant again," while a second person commented, "Blasphemous."

This comes amid his album "Insano," which was released on January 12, 2024.

'Insano' Album

Kid Cudi's highly anticipated album, "Insano", is a successor to the 2022 fan-favorite Intergalactic.

Few months ago, he explicitly stated that the record would not include the much-hyped collaboration with Playboi Carti, "Solo Dolo Pt 4," despite its exhilarating live performances.

"He won't clear it, which is very weak. So yea, it won't be on there."

Although Kid Cudi and Playboi Carti have decided to go their separate ways in terms of collaboration, "Insano" remains undeniably influenced by Playboy Carti's signature style.

The album is packed with the hazy synth textures that both Playboy Carti and his artistic followers adore. Even though 21 Savage continues to create music within his established genre, Kid Cudi is determined to explore new boundaries and elevate his sound.

"Insano" cannot be classified as a mere experimental record despite its uniqueness, according to reviews. Kid Cudi continues to make significant strides in the world of rap, enlisting the talents of Travis Scott and the presently-incarcerated Young Thug on the album, both of whom also appear on Savage's record.

Featuring special appearances from A$AP Rocky, Lil Yachty, and the late XXXTentacion, "Insano"showcases a diverse range of talent.

In his usual mixtape-hosting mode, DJ Drama makes his presence known by throwing shade, just like he did on Tyler The Creator's Call Me If You Get Lost.

A particular highlight for me is the clever use of the Ace Of Base's "All That She Wants" sample on the track "Electrowavebaby."

"Insano" may also be the last album he'll release because in 2022, Kid Cudi said he is nearing the end of his rap career.

"I just don't know if I wanna do music, drop albums for too much longer, you know? I'm kind of nearing the end on all things Kid Cudi, I think."
