In a recent interview with Rolling Stone, Dua Lipa provided some insight into the complexity of her romantic life.

Following their sighting of each other getting cozy at a Beverly Hills dinner for the Steven Spielberg series Masters of the Air earlier this month, the singer, 28, is rumored to be dating British actor Callum Turner.

Before her third album was released, Dua Lipa talked about how her previous heartbreak affected her songs and the "confusing stages" of dating while wearing skimpy leather on the magazine cover.

The singer-songwriter looked amazing while modeling a number of chic looks for the photo shoot, one of which being a sheer top that revealed a hint of her bra underneath.

Dua made references to her rumored breakup with her French lover Romain Gavras during the open conversation. Romain is the 'nepo baby' of renowned French-Greco-Grex director Costa-Gavras, known for iconic communist movies like Z and State of Siege. In December, rumors started to spread that Dua and 42-year-old Romain had broken up after just eight months of dating.

She said, "'ve had breakups in my life where I felt like the only kind of breakup you could have was when things just ended really badly. Things ending in a nice way was such a new thing.... It taught me a lot."

Prior to Romain, Dua dated 24-year-old Anwar Hadid for two years. When Dua was seen slow-dancing in Los Angeles earlier this month with actor Callum, 33, people's mouths dropped.

Callum and English model Mathilda Lowther, granddaughter of the 7th Earl of Lonsdale, were briefly connected last year. Prior to that, he was romantically linked to Vanessa Kirby for four years. Kirby gained worldwide recognition for her role as Princess Margaret during the first two seasons of The Crown.

"It's new, but they're mad about each other," an insider told Page Six.

"She was at the premiere to support him."

As to dating as a very famous music icon, Dua told Rolling Stone, "I think overall, is just a little confusing. It's either through friends of friends or people you trust where you can meet new people, because [dating] is not really so straightforward when you are, I guess, a public person. Her stormy love life is also reflected in the lyrics of her latest album."

These include, "We call it love but hate it here/Did we really mean it when we said forever?' and 'I must have loved you more than I ever knew.... I'm not mad/I'm not hurt/You got everything you deserve."

Dua told Rolling Stone, "When you have a feeling like that one, you feel really grown because you're like, "Oh, whoa, I'm such an evolved human being that I can see my ex move on and feel good about it."
