Keough and Presley's relationship has been reportedly on the rocks following Lisa Marie Presley's death. Keough has been assigned as the heiress of Elvis Presley's Graceland estate, which sparked an alleged rift between her and her grandmother, Priscilla.

Reports at the time say that Priscilla was removed from Lisa Marie's will, and lawsuits came about with Priscilla fighting her way back to the will, to have a hand on Graceland ultimately.

However, Keough's jurisdiction emerged victorious and she officially became responsible for Graceland.

Presley has since squashed and debunked rumors about her alleged rift with her granddaughter.

"Riley is now the executor, which should be right, obviously, being her daughter," she revealed to The Hollywood Reporter in August 2023. "Riley and I are on good terms. We were never not on good terms. That was all publicity."

Presley was named a "special adviser" to the trust, a role which would earn her a monthly stipend from the trust.
