A few days before Drake and J. Cole were geared to kick off their "It Was All a Blur-Big as the What?" tour, they postponed it.

According to reports, the tour, which was supposed to start on Jan. 18 in Denver, will now kick off in Tampa, Florida on Feb. 2.

As of this writing, there are no statements released by either rapper regarding the abrupt postponement.

The "It Was All a Blur-Big as the What?" is the first co-headlining tour for both Drake and J. COle, but it is hardly their first time working together.

Drake's Music Isn't 'Real Hip-Hop'?

Drake is one of the most successful rappers in the generation; he is one of the best-selling rappers with the most chart-topping hits, however, apparently, some hip-hop artists do no t think he is one of them.

"Drake is pop to me, in the sense like, if I was in Target in Houston and I heard a Drake song... it feels like a lot of his music is compatible with shopping. Or shopping with an edge in certain instances... It's likable," said Yasiin Bey about Drake's music.

"What happens when this thing collapses? What happens when the columns start buckling? Are we not in some early stage of that, at this present hour? Are we seeing the collapse of the empire? Buying and selling, where's the message that I can use? What's in it for your audience apart from banging the pom-poms?"

This is a sentiment that NME shares with Bey; the publication noted that the Canadian hitmaker's recently released album "For All the Dogs" is "no new news."
