It looks like Miley Cyrus won't be going down under after all, at least not for the planned iHeartRadio Fest Australia. After a mysterious second headliner was unable to be secured for the planned inaugural music festival, the radio company has now just cancelled the entire event.

According to Billboard, iHeartRadio Fest Australia was cancelled after promoters failed to get a second headlining act to accompany the Bangerz singer.

"As a consequence of the unavailability of another headline act, due to be announced this week, we have canceled the event for now," they said in a statement.

The identity of the un-securable second act, if there was ever even one in the process, is not identified.

Though Cyrus was far and away the biggest name in the iHeartRadio Australia lineup, the first festival was also scheduled to have performances by Oceania favorites such as Cody Simpson, former LMFAO performer Redfoo, Australian pop-rock band At Sunset, rapper Miracle and DJs The Faders.

The event was set to take place on Oct. 18 at the Allstate Arena for 20,000 music lovers.

But Aussie fans of Miley Cyrus shouldn't quite start whipping out some "Wrecking Ball" level of tears yet, she'll still be coming to Australia in October as a part of her Bangerz Tour. (iHeartRadio Fest Australia was conveniently in the middle of her Oceania tour leg).
