Doja Cat's mother, Deborah Elizabeth Sawyer, filed a temporary restraining order against her son, the singer slash rapper's brother, Raman Dalithando Dlamini.

According to Page Six, Dlamini physically abused the "Paint the Town Red" hitmaker and even "knocked her teeth out" at one point.

"Raman has verbally assaulted her in a very degrading and demeaning manor [sic]," the filing read, it also noted that Dojat Cat "[feels] unsafe and traumatized."

Aside from the physical abuse, Dlamini also reportedly threatened to kill her and stole and damaged the singer slash rapper's belongings.

Doja Cat Experiences Physical Abuse From Brother

According to reports, this is not the first time Dlamini harmed the "Say So" singer; their mother filed a restraining order in 2017 but it already expired.

This time, Sawyer wants a permanent restraining order against Dlamini, and a judge has granted her request for a temporary restraining order in the meantime. At the same time, they wait for the hearing of the permanent restraining order.

Dojat Cat did not release a statement regarding her brother's abuse or the ongoing legal issues surrounding the restraining order.

She did, however, share the recently announced Coachella lineup for this year, in which she would be headlining alongside Lana Del Rey, Tyler The Creator, and No Doubt.

Other performers announced included to be in the lineup for this year;s Coachella are J Balvin, Sabrina Carpenter, Lil Jacht, Charlotte de Witt, Dom Dolla, and more.

Doja Cat's Family Feud

There is not a lot of information known about Doja Cat's family. She has not really spoken much about them since rising to stardom.

Even while she faces physical abuse, the "Agora Hills" singer has kept mum about it and stayed quiet about every other rumor about her family.

According to reports, there were rumors in 2021 that Doja Cat has a twin brother, but there are no legitimate confirmations about this.

Meanwhile, Doja Cat's mother is a fashion designer and painter while her father is an actor.

"It's always great to have both of your parents in your life and all of your brothers and sisters and everybody loves each other. But like, s**t isn't like that sometimes," Doja Cat once wrote about her relationship with her family.
