When We Were Young Festival organizers announced the official lineup for the 2024 edition of their music event last month and fans were happy with the artists who will be performing for the massive gathering. However, Matt Good, a member of the band From First to Last, wasn't fond of the list of performers; what happened?
According to Loudwire, it all began when organizers for the music event took to their social media profile to confirm that Taking Back Sunday will be one of the bands who will perform at the event.
In addition to them, other massive music acts like My Chemical Romance, Fall Out Boy, and more, are going to be present.

Each group will perform one of their classic albums from start to finish and Taking Back Sunday will give fans a major throwback with their upcoming performance of the 2022 album "Tell All Your Friends."
From First to Last's Matt Good Calls Out WWWY Festival Organizers Because of Its Lineup
After the announcement, From First to Last's guitarist, Matt Good, took to social media to share his sentiments as his band wasn't contacted to perform at the famed music event.
"It's literally insane no one has ever asked From First to Last to play this. I feel like I'm being gaslit lol," he wrote.
The musician didn't stop there as he later explained that his band directly asked organizers for When We Were Young Festival if they could play but they rejected them.

"I feel it's important to know we asked @WWWYFest to play multiple months ago and they straight up said no and the last second added TBS. It's all good but the lies are hilarious to me. Let's just act like @FFTLAST never mattered I guess," he added.
Later on, the guitarist added that his intention wasn't to talk bad about the festival, but rather, he was tired of explaining to the public why his band was not included in the lineup.
"Now everyone knows and we can all move on," he added.
When We Were Young Festival 2024
Emo kids have something to celebrate this year because When We Were Young Festival will return for its 2022 edition.
The event will be at the Las Vegas Festival Grounds on October 19, 2024, which marks the third time the famed festival will hold its event at the same venue.
Music acts that are included in the lineup are Simple Plan, Jimmy Eat World, Coheed and Cambira, Cobra Starship, and many more.
