Mark Ronson is thrilled to earn his second Oscar nomination for Best Original Song with "I'm Just Ken," a nomination he shares with Andrew Wyatt for "Barbie."

While the "Ken" ballad captured the hearts of many with Ryan Gosling's masterful performance, many aren't thrilled now because of Margot Robbie and Greta Gerwig's snub on the Best Actress and Best Director categories.

Mark Ronson Reacts To 'I'm Just Ken' Oscar Nomination

In an Instagram post, the Academy Award winner shared a lengthy post thanking fans and voters for the recognition.

"wowwwwwwww. We are so grateful and honoured to be recognized by our peers and heroes in the Academy music branch," he wrote in the caption, also thanking the artists who contributed to the success of the "Barbie" soundtrack including Billie Eilish, Dua Lipa, Ice Spice, Lizzo, Ava Max, Charli XCX, Sam Smith, and Nicki Minaj.

"We salute Ryan for bringing everything to it. AND Margot Robbie because there is no "just Ken", it's Barbie AND Ken, she put this whole damn thing together and then gave a tour de force 'make you laugh one second and cry the next' performance that will go in the books. We love you... And once again, all praise to the brilliant Greta Gerwig who delivered a unprecedented kaleidoscopic vision of a warmer world that made us hurt from laughing while touching us at such a soulful level - and helped bring people back to the movies in droves while doing so," he went on to say.

Ronson and Wyatt previously won an Academy Award for writing and producing "Shallow" with Lady Gaga and Anthony Rossomando, earning all of their first Oscars in 2018 for the movie "A Star Is Born."

"I'm Just Ken" also won the 2024 Critics' Choice Awards, sending Ryan Gosling into a puzzled look when it was announced.
