Tyler's health setbacks have been lurking around for almost his entire life. Apart from his ugly relationship with drugs, the musician also dealt with other physical health issues, including a ruptured blood vessel in his throat in 2006 after their performance in Florida.
At that time, he underwent a throat surgery that forced the band to cancel the remaining U.S. tour stops.
He also contracted Hepatitis C in 2003 and underwent leg surgeries in 2008.
Tyler's most recent health battle started in 2023 when he damaged his vocal cord.
"I'm heartbroken to say I have received strict doctor's not to sing for the next thirty days. I sustained vocal cord damage during Saturday's show that led to subsequent bleeding," he said.
Tyler added that the band had to postpone a few dates so they could come back and give their loyal supporters the performance they deserve."
Aerosmith rescheduled its tour dates, though it also offered refunds to those who could not make it to the new dates.

Steven Tyler's Legal Battles
While dealing with his health issues, Tyler was slapped with a sexual assault lawsuit by Jeanne Bellino.
The alleged victim, who was 17 years old at the time, claimed that the singer sexually assaulted her in a phone booth in Manhattan in the summer of 1975. The rest of his band reportedly laughed and watched them from the outside.
In 2022, Tyler also denied the allegations that she had a relationship with someone who was 16 years old back then in 1973.
