Kate Middleton and Prince William always seem so incredibly tight when they show up for a personal appearance that it is easy to forget they are, at root, a normal, married couple. William has been doing royal double-time, taking over some of his wife's missed royal appearances while continuing to carry out his normal duties. Things have reportedly been tense — so tense that the couple has spent a lot of time apart, with Middleton staying with her family.
