Doja Cat teased a new song that she will be releasing on Friday on Instagram. This is her second post so far since returning to the social media platform.
A silhouette of a spider on the wall behind Doja suggests that she is alluding to the cover artwork of her 2023 album, Scarlet.

The song's title is "Masc," but it's hard to decode what it means until the whole song drops. Doja is shown in the video singing in a severely processed voice, "Boy, we too grown for this s***."

"Scarlet 2 Claude April 5" flashes up at the end of the teaser, and there's a link to her Instagram Story where fans can pre-listen to the song.
Fans were thrilled to see her back posting on her Instagram and told her they cannot wait to hear the song.
Meanwhile, on X, Doja Cat engaged in a discussion on music leaks and stated that she did not see why she or others should be concerned about music leaks.
Doja Cat Wonders What's So Bad About Music Leaks
"What does it mean when someone leaks an album why do people get upset?" the 28-year-old star voiced her confusion on X (formerly Twitter) on Wednesday (April 3).
Some of her fans responded by explaining that it has a detrimental impact on streaming figures.
But Doja wrote, "I don't care." But a fan went on to say, "I mean it's lowkey disrespectful if you set a date and people are dropping it early w/o permission."
This prompted the star to say she understands it is not a thing to be encouranged.

But she explained too that the better reaction is to just ignore it and do something else.
"No its definitely messed up cuz i wanted to put it out myself but theres nothing i can do about it!! thats just how its gonna be but at least i can just keep being creative and look forward to the awesome things i have coming up!!," Doja Cast said.
One fan, obviously more bothered by Doja's unaffected stance than Doja herself, posted, "Thought you would be cussing out people having a breakdown or sum." Doja replied, "LMAO nah [crying emoji]."
Fans React to Her Unaffected Stance
Some lauded her for being unbothered. Others joked that at least she's not like other artists who would use it as an excuse to delay their albums.
