Last month A$AP Ferg dropped his Ferg Forever mixtape, but one song in particular, the Stelios-produced track "Dope Walk," is making headlines because of a reference Ferg makes to model Cara Delevingne. "I'm on my gangster lean like a dope fiend / My walk's meaner than Cara Delevingne's / "Check out my walk because it's so amazing / Nothing like Bobby Shmurda's but I congratulate him / More like a gangsta lean, let's get this picture painted," Ferg raps on the braggadocious verse.

The lyric prompted Delevingne to challenge Ferg to a walk-off on Instagram. They both talked their game and then posted their respective videos, which has sparked a new "Dope Walk" dance movement (Check out the videos below).

MTV recently reported the story behind the lyric in an interview with Stelios, who said the whole thing was freestyled.

"After recording a few songs at Jungle City, Ferg took a break and, for some reason, we started watching a video where Cara Delevingne lip-syncs LL Cool J's 'Control Myself' surrounded by dancing Japanese emojis," he told them. "That brought to mind a photo I'd seen of Cara wearing her grill. I showed it to Ferg, and he thought it was dope."

He then explained how that translated in to him mentioning her on the track.

"Later on, I played him the beat that became 'Dope Walk,' and he came up with the first line instantly. Then, he went into the booth and freestyled the whole thing, Pokémon references and all. When we heard him say, 'I'm on my gangster lean like a dope fiend / My walk's meaner than Cara Delevingne's,' the whole room was like, 'Oh s-t!' Like all good things in life, that special moment was inspired by a wonderful set of grills."
