The name of Lady Antebellum's forthcoming Wheels Up Tour just got a new meaning. Charles Kelley said that he and Hillary Scott usually spend their airplane time writing new songs, and he also shared an off-key story about one of those flights.

"Sometimes I write lyrics on long flights. Dave [Haywood] is always sending ideas, you know, to Hillary and I and saying, 'Hey man, see if something kind of inspired you,'" Kelley told The Boot. "So, a couple times on a plane, I've actually been in the restroom singing the melody into my phone, and one time I did that, and I walked out, and the guy had obviously heard me, and he goes, 'Nice jam, bro.' I was like, 'Oh, my gosh!' I was singing it too loud, but it's always fun."

The duo are very excited for their first headlining stop at Nashville's Bridgestone Arena, which they called a "bucket list" gig, but there's also plenty of other things to look forward to.

"It's going to be just a lot of high energy," Scott said. "You know, we are going to be road testing a lot of these album cuts off of [new album] '747' and seeing what the fans think of them. While we're in Europe and Australia, a lot of them really get so deep into these albums, they know a lot of these songs, and so that'll be fun."

Lady A's most recent album, 747, was a letdown on the country charts, becoming their their first LP to not hit No. 1 (it still notched the second spot).

They've got a successful single to work off of, though. "Bartender" shot up to No. 1 (and No. 31 on the pop chart) last summer.
