The CW released a new trailer and a new set of photos for the upcoming “The Flash” Season 4. Viewers now know what the characters are up to based on these. Caitlin is off on her own being a bartender while Cisco, Wally and Joe are working hard at keeping the villains at bay in Central City. The most interesting detail to have come out, however, is the return of Barry Allen.

Barry’s return has actually been teased from the many promos and images that came out for the new season of “The Flash.” But, the new trailer gives fans their best look yet of the new Flash. When Barry returns, he is a changed man who will be bringing a lot of baggage with him. Despite their upcoming wedding, he and Iris will go through some issues according to Screen Rant.

Iris has been teased in the promos and images of “The Flash” as grappling with the potential loss of her love. A major cause of their problem may be due to what Barry has gone through while in the Speed Force.

Also in the new trailer, Iris and Joe can be seen struggling due to Flash’s absence. She and Cisco also debate on which way to go to bring Barry back reports Comic Book. The trailer also features the samurai villain who threatens Capital City. Finally, it shows Barry’s return but he doesn’t seem to be fit to be a hero again.

It is also clear that Barry does not talk and he tries to translate what he learned in the Speed Force by writing on a white board. He is also being monitored at S.T.A.R. labs. In the “The Flash” trailer, Cisco can be seen asking Barry if he wants to try on his new suit.

Even while the new trailer and earlier promo materials tease of a darker Barry and the season itself, it has been promoted as more fun season of “The Flash.” Spoilers indicate that the first half will be about Barry’s return but will hold off on the Flash’s return. Luckily for fans, they don’t have to wait long to see how everything unfolds since it is set to premiere on October 10.
