Nate Smith and Avril Lavigne are the latest celebrities that people speculated to be dating as they were spotted on a night out together, but this connection might not be romantic, but rather something that is related to music; what did they do during their meetup?
A paparazzi video by Hollywood Curtain of the pair's meeting as they step out of a restaurant called Catch Steak in Los Angeles, California.
Both artists sported all-black clothing and although they left the venue at the same time, they weren't holding hands.
Later on a video shared by a news outlet shows the two hopping out of a black pick-up truck before Lavigne brought out a skateboard and both of them had fun riding and skating along the sidewalk.
Even though people speculated that the two might be romantically involved, the outlet revealed that their connection is platonic and they had dinner as friends. In addition, they might've discussed some stuff about future projects related to music.
As of this writing, neither of the two singer have addressed their night out and they never confirmed if new music from them will come out soon.
Avril Lavigne Previous Relationship
According to People Magazine, Avril Lavigne's previous alleged relationship was with Tyga in February 2023 after they were spotted on a dinner date at Nobu in Los Angeles. Their outing happened the day after the rocker called off her engagement to her ex Mod Son.
A few weeks later, they were seen in Paris, France, to attend Leonardo DiCaprio's party and they were also photographed kissing each other outside an event in the fashion capital.

"Tyga and Avril are getting to know each other... It's very new. It's very casual, the source said.
Later on, an insider revealed that the couple was "very into each other" and have been spending time with one another. However, the source added that they were not exclusive at the time.
Their relationship didn't last as they reportedly broke up in June 2023.
