Renowned Mexican band Los Bukis is set to create history with a 15-date residency at Dolby Live at Park MGM in Las Vegas, starting on Friday, May 3. Presented in collaboration with Live Nation and MGM Resorts International, "Los Bukis: The Las Vegas Residency" will offer fans an intimate concert experience in the 5,200-seat venue.
This announcement comes on the heels of Los Bukis' successful stadium tour in 2021, marking their reunion after a 25-year hiatus. Billboard's year-end Boxscore charts for 2021 ranked Los Bukis' Una Historia Cantada Tour at No. 6 among the top tours, with a total gross of $49,667,153. The tour also earned the band the Top Latin Tour award at the 2022 Billboard Music Awards.
Led by Marco Antonio Solís, Los Bukis returned to the stage in 2022 for additional dates, emphasizing the emotional connection with their audience. The grupero band has made a significant impact on the Hot Latin Songs chart, with 32 entries since October 1986, including five No. 1 hits like "Como Fui A Enamorarme De Ti," "Y Ahora Te Vas," and "Mi Mayor Necesidad."
