Kacey Musgraves is still floating from her high after winning Best Country Duo/Group Performance for "I Remember Everything" with Zach Bryan over the weekend at the 2024 Grammy Awards.

The "Rainbow" singer announced that she will be dropping a brand-new album called "Deeper Well," by releasing its title track, as well as a little note on what it is about.

"I really do believe in the biggest, most powerful form of connection is vulnerability," Musgraves said about the inspiration for her new album.

"So it's like on one hand, I think there's hardly ever any mystery left in life, especially with artists. But at the same time, we're here to connect."

Elsewhere in her interview with Apple Music's Zane Lowe, the country music star explained that she has been gearing up to face the audience once again after laying low for so long.

"I really enjoy and revere my privacy and having something just for me and my personal life. I'm really kind of a homebody."

Kacey Musgraves Reemerges After Grammys Win

The last time Musgraves released a project was back in 2021 with her album "Star-Crossed."

According to reports, the singer has not released much in the past three years since her latest album, but he has been working on several projects on the side like collaborating with "Sesame Street," performing a Grammys' in memoriam tribute, and collaborating with Bryan for their award-winning duet.

The time off, however, has brought Musgraves both peace and anticipation for her next body of work especially since she has not been on an album cycle for a while.

"And as you get ready to release a project, this tsunami of madness is coming to work me. And you're going to be very public-facing again," she continued. "And that can be - that's kind of hard for me sometimes."
