Kanye West had fans worried about his condition as many of them noticed something growing on his upper lip in one of the videos he posted online. More recently, an expert weighted in about the matter and explained what possibly happened to the musician.

According to Page Six, the rapper took to his official Instagram account to share a video of himself speaking to the camera to defend his right to post Bianca Censori.

The angle of the video was so close to his face that fans noticed that there was something growing on his upper lip weeks after he got titanium dentures, which reportedly costs a whopping $850,000.

Dr. Clement Kairouz, a celebrity dentist under Apa Aesthetic in New York, spoke with the outlet to share what happened to Kanye West.

Kanye West Upper Lip Growth Explained

The doctor noted that fans have nothing to worry about the rapper because the lump growing on his upper lip is completely normal.

The reason why there was a growth was because of his new dentures which pushed out his lip.

"Kanye has always had a prominent cupid's bow and upper tubercle tissue, so I do not think we're looking at tissue overgrowth," Kairouz said. (the outlet noted that the doctor didn't personally treat the "Donda" rapper)

Kairouz added that based on the photos, West got a "fixed bridge" which "does not respect natural oral anatomy" or "leave space for soft tissue."

The doctor further explained that adding the bridge is "over-protected" which pushed his upper lip forward.

Kanye West's Titanium Dentures

Last month, fans were surprised when Kanye West debuted his titanium dentures. Sources noted that the new teeth were "fixed prosthodontics."

The dentures were reportedly adhered to his teeth permanently which is different from veneers or grills.

"This goes way beyond veneers or grills... and his particular implant is quite unlike anything that has been done before," the source told the outlet.

It was also clarified that the musician's original teeth weren't removed.

In other updates about the rapper, it was claimed online that Taylor Swift had him "kicked out" of the Super Bowl as he allegedly bought tickets in front of her.

However, a representative for the rapper clarified the incident to a news outlet, saying the rumor was "completely fabricated."
