Bad Bunny is one of the biggest Latino artists in the planet today. His impact not just in Latin music, but in pop music in general has sparked a newfound curiosity in the rather eclipsed genre of music.

While Bad Bunny's legion of fans around the world wouldn't think of anything other than him making music, the global pop star confessed what industry he would be in if he was not making music.

Bad Bunny Wants To Be A Chef If Not A Singer

As Bad Bunny graced Interview Magazine in their March issue, he told Puerto Rican actor Benicio Del Toro that he would've delved into the culinary industry if his career in music did not pan out the way he wanted it to be.

"If I wasn't going anywhere with my music, I was going to work in the culinary arts," he admitted. "I saw cooking as something creative because sure, there are recipes, but there's also the opportunity to craft your own dishes, to create your own flavor."

Although he expressed a liking for the vast food industry, Bad Bunny maintains that music is in his soul and definitely where his heart is.

"I actually dreamed so much about having this career," he shared. "I'd come home from school and go straight to the computer, making beats and learning to record my own music. I'd sometimes say, 'Damn, if this isn't meant to be, I don't know what I'll do because I don't have another dream.'"

However, things didn't come easy for Benito. The "Titi Me Pregunto" singer "had to be a realist" in order for his music dream to come to life.

"I wasn't going to go be lazy thinking that I'd get everything I wanted, so I went to college. I had my job [bagging groceries at Econo] to at least pay for gas," he elaborated.

However, Bad Bunny didn't leave his culinary dreams to flames.

In fact, he opened Gekkō, in 2022, a lavish Japanese-inspired steakhouse experience for the elite. Serving premium Japanese beef Wagyu cuts, to an array of freshly rolled sushis, Gekkō has welcomed a lot of celebrities already.

Among them were Kim Kardashian, Kaia Gerber, Eva Longoria, and even David Beckham, and more.
