Priscilla Presley is entangled in a lawsuit filed by Brigitte Kruse, her former business partner.
Last year, Brigitte filed court papers stating that she had offered her services to Priscilla, assisting her with her business and personal matters during a crucial period when Elvis's ex-wife was facing severe financial constraints.
In court, it was revealed that Priscilla, the mother of Lisa Marie Presley and the grandmother of actress Riley Keough, was facing a significant amount of tax debt, totaling $700,000.
According to Brigitte, it was a dire situation, with Priscilla on the verge of financial collapse.
However, she managed to turn things around just in time by reorganizing her affairs, according to TMZ.
Priscilla Presley Lawsuit
In her testimony, Brigitte emphasized the substantial investment of money and time she had made toward various ventures associated with Priscilla Presley. These endeavors were intended to leverage the widespread attention generated by the release of Sofia Coppola's biographical film about "Priscilla" in October 2023.
The lawsuit filed by Brigitte against the Presley matriarch for breach of contract has taken a new twist.
In August 2023, Priscilla abruptly cut off all communication with her and failed to provide any compensation for the projects she had worked on.
According to Priscilla's attorney, Marty Singer, she ended her professional relationship with Brigitte after discovering that the latter was trying to unlawfully take control of Priscilla's assets and engage in other illicit activities.
The lawyer said Priscilla "made significant claims against PPP and its principals Brigitte Kruse and Kevin Fialko for misappropriating hundreds of thousands of dollars long before this specious lawsuit was filed."
He said, "We fully anticipate that my client will be vindicated and obtain a judgment against them."

Brigitte is also described as a "founder and lead auctioneer for a prestigious auction house, a prominent figure in the auction industry," and "a remarkable champion for the underprivileged,"
Her social media bio reflects her impactful presence and dedication to helping others.
The statement further said, "From her record-breaking auctions in entertainment memorabilia, haute couture fashion, fine jewelry, and Royal artifacts, she still has never stopped giving back to her community and those causes which are important to her."
